Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Jenna in a nutshell? I am your typical girl-next-door. I live a life as full of andventure and love as possible and try my hardest to leave drama at regret behind me. I am 100% madly, utopically and blissfully married to my soul mate. We live in a fixer upper in California with two dogs and a shitty ass cat.

I work as an Office Manager full time and also go to school full time. On top of all that I am trying to live a more active lifestyle. Between my husband, work, school and the gym I hardly have time to sleep lately. But to be honest, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I hate coffee but love the smell, Buddhism is the religion I most closely identify with, I am creeped out by music boxes and I beleive escalators are for lazy people. I am also a certified massage therpaist, hate the color orange, love WalMart for it'a ability to boost your self esteem and wish with every fiber of my being that cheesecake were calorie-free.

In the grand picture though I know that none of these "qualities" make up who I really am. To be able to define who I really am seems to me to be a pointless and impossible task. These are all aspects of my personality that hopefully add to the essense of ME.

Things I Love

Green tea, sushiny days, my husband, art that I dont really understand, building snowmen, dolphins, feeling the sand between my toes, a good hamburger, vodka, working out, feeling strong, my future, my sister, feeling a slight breeze whisp through my hair, privacy, love, love-making, a babies laugh, the smell of roses, sleeping in on the weekends, being present, ocean waves, the feeling of accomplishment, giving advise, ice cream, my wedding ring, the idea of having a family with my husband, my… Continue

Day 80- Something: Getting Back on Track

It has been so long since I have been on this site; it seems like people arent as involved anymore and the site wasnt giving me what it once had. But I am back to give it a second try . . . . . I am getting ready to wrap up season one with little success to my manifestations. I think this season was more orentation than anything else. I have realized how negative I can be and how I worry too damn much. Most importantly though, I have learned to recognize the people in my life that are and were… Continue

The Awakening

There comes a time in your life when you finally get it... When in the midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and somewhere the voice inside your head cries out - ENOUGH! Enough fighting and crying or struggling to hold on. And, like a child quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside, you shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears and through a mantle of wet lashes you begin to look at the world from a new perspective. This is your awakening.… Continue

Day 43 - Any TEACHERS out there? I need some professional advise :)

So I have finally decided to get my butt in gear and finish my schooling to become a teacher. I KNOW that is what I want to do but the problem is how to get there. I am currently enrolled in the University of Pheonix online courses and am almost finished with my Associates. They do not offer child development courses so I would have to get my master's through them to even consider teaching. I am worried about my "hire-abiliy" having a degree from an online course. Is this a legitamit concern? O… Continue

Day 42 - Family

This last weekend James and I had to drive 600 miles to a funeral :( It was a nice road trip and I really enjoyed the time with my husband. The trip really put things into persepective for me. I have been with my husband for over 8 years now and most of his family still doesn't even know me - some were suprised to hear he was married. I am such a family-oriented person and really have no family to claim as my own. My dad lives in Hawaii, my mom and sister are over 500 miles away and I dont have… Continue

Hi Jenna,

Thank you for the comment about Indigo's! It is great to know that a lo tof people here are Indigo's. It is such a fascinating topic. I've begun to research this topic in more depth, I'm learning so much. I would like to start an Indigo group but I'm going to wait until I feel there are a good amount of people interested on this topic.
it's so great to know that you are an Indigo! It's amazing that even mychurch knows about Indigo's and they have created programs to help indigo's in learning institutions. It's amazing to me! Hi Jenna, I'm glad telling my story has made you realize that your situation isn't that bad. Trust me my situation used to be a lot worse when we lived in London as my partners sister lived near us then. I mean it really shocks my friends when I tell them what things she has done. After reading A New Earth I now know complaining about doesn't help and with the LoA that brings more to complain about. I still do it but I'm at the first stage being aware that I'm doing it and each day I think about it less and less.
Thats a shame that she was your best friend, I also have an issue with a close friend too but I'm so stubborn I can't seem to let it go but I'm working on it:)

Hi Jenna, thanks so much for your comment. I'll have to re-watch chapter 3, I find the begining classes much better. I know what you mean about being present and feeling what my body feels like, I will do that tonight. Thanks again your comment has really helped me:)

Thanks for the comment, yes things are going well thankyou! I seem to be focusing more on things I am grateful for and making a concious effort to see the good/funny/beautiful/meaningful things all around that I would have previously not bothered to focus on.

And everything you write is so correct!!! We do have to deal with so much negativity when we start - we have to see it so we can realease it - and yes it is so wonderful to be happy and sometimes still so "not easy" But go for it!! There is so much beauty and love and great things and experiences and people in the world - when we tune into them they show up in our lives.
