The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Now the weather's warming up downunder, I'm exploring adding more raw food to my diet. I had so much fun earlier this year doing 30 days raw, raising money for charity, but I really, really want to get a VitaMix by Christmas.

I thought for a while there that I might have enough to buy one, when someone retained me for a project they were doing and I had a bit of cash going. I thought I was finally manifesting one of my intentions, which was written as "It amazes me that every time I look at my bank balances they've grown further while I wasn't looking - and I have enormous fun trying unsuccessfully to spend it all".

Well, there are only a few outlets that sell VitaMix blenders for Australian powerpoints and certified to our safety standards. They cost $1050. Would you believe that every single one of them was out of stock? Oh, and the dehydrator I wanted (Excalibur) was also out of stock. Maybe I shouldn't have added that bit about unsuccessfully trying to spend my money???

At least I was able to pre-order the Excalibur for delivery next week when they get them. But then a few other expenses came up, and I no longer had enough sitting in the account to get the blender too. :( Now I'm trying to get creative to figure out how I can raise enough to get it (when they come in again) and have it in time for the family Christmas I'm hosting this year. I want to blow my non-veggie non-raw family away with some of the dishes I've been dying to try! Like the stuff on therawchefblog.com

I also discovered the Oprah site has a free 'O-dream board' program you can download for your computer once you're registered. I had a bit of fun setting that up with some of the things on my wishlist. I'm also up to the fourth section of Wealth Beyond Reason 2.0 - the course on reality creation I bought years ago but didn't do much with, but which has now been rearranged to a really simple easy format (the ducks are cute). So aside from the unintentional side effect of my wording, it seems like a good start.

Once you have the Vitamix I'm curious to find out what you think of it. It's on my wish list as well. I'm not a real raw foodie, but a vegetarian with an interest in tasteful but healthy recipes. I bought a juice extractor last year and a new food processor with blender. Clumsy as I can be I let the blender fall on the floor a few months ago.... so I need a good replacement for it ;-)

Awesome that you are going to do the 30 days Raw! Lovely! I am incorporating more raw foods into my diet these days. I was trying to go 100% raw, but that didn't seem to work so well. I'm just making excuses. But there really is no excuse. I'm working toward it.

I have heard that Vita-mix is one of the best. Never heard of the Excalibur though.

Sharing that you were having a hard time spending your money is awesome! It is good to have more money than you can spend! Great testimony!

You are lovely! Glad to have you here.
