Bikram Yoga Challenge Journaling (Day 67, Season 5)

Well I want to keep a journal of my Bikram yoga 30 day challenge and I feel like this is the best place for me. I've been wondering what to monitor for the 30 days and have come up with a few things that I want to keep track of.

Yoga Class
Eating habits (what I ate):
Sleep habits (# of Hours and if it was good)
Focusing ability
Feeling of Body
Happiness level (if it can increase anymore than it is) :-)
Weight

Surprisingly weight is probably the last reason I'm doing this class which is a wonderful feeling. I'm going to include it just out of interest.

If there is anything else someone would like me to include out of curiosity just let me know and I'll do it. :-)

Day 1 (Yesterday)
Yoga Class: I was able to do most of the standing series and declined quickly after the first floor pose. My balence was shaky and I fell out of a lot of poses.
Focusing ability: In class pretty good, out of class no change
Eating Habits: Breakfast: Bagel with cream cheese. Lunch: Thanksgiving leftovers. Dinner: Foot long buffalo chicken from subway
Sleep habits: Went to bed later than usual cause we had a game night (12:30) and woke up at 7:45 (out of bed at 8) Slept fine with no recollection of dreams
Feeling of Body: Sore legs but feel great
Happiness level: WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!
Weight: (weighed myself today which is day two and before my class with all clothes on) 218

There is the start. That was a lot of typing so I may cut it down a bit.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day

Hi Chris! I am excited to read about your Bikram yoga challenge! I love Bikram yoga but mostly practice and teach Vinyasa. It will be so great to track your progression both to see your ease of practice and your enjoyment. Good luck and I can't wait to read more!

It's so wonderful. I forgot to add that I learned even more about my energy in the class and how I can focus it and share it with others just with a thought. I hope to develop a greater understanding over these next 30 days that will aid me in my discovery of being whatever leader I was meant to be. :-)

I love the feeling when I just feel like I can't take it anymore and feel like I will die if I don't leave the room and just giving into that feeling. Almost every class I feel like part of me dies and opens up for new beliefs and experiences.

Have fun with your Bikram challenge Chris. I did the 30 day once myself and it was quite grueling! Still can't do all the poses perfectly, but I have to say you do feel amazing once your session is done.
Enjoy!
