S2 Some news in the workplace... I hope I didnt bring it on!!!
I got to work the yesterday and my coworker informed me that there was going to be a "Restructuring" happening in our unit. You know what this means... Possible layoffs... This is my parttime job but one that gives me 2,700 a mos. in income...Substantial...So I am a high paid worker and only pt. So... as a part time worker I will be cut before a ft employee. There are no other parttime people in my unit!!!! Yikes!!! Need I say more...
Lately I have been not liking it and knowing deep down that I want to have another job where I can make my income now and work less... I have been thinking how I wanted to leave here.. I need this income...as you know I JUST bought a new house and have more expenses!! I began to panic a little and want/need to shift my thinking.... I dont want to "manifest" this until my income is replaced!!!! I dont want to go "rogue" and wing it, until I have something else....even though the work is somewhat tiring and draining..... Any insight would be highly welcomed!!!!!

Nothing is ever set in stone and the only reason there is a energy out there that we believe part time workers would get fired first is because we believe that other don't place as much value on it which is true if you think it's true. Part time workers are great because they are always fresh and get a lot of work done in the time they are there. There is a spring board for you to leap into the pool of good feelings and happiness.
I would say this. "Nice try Universe but you didn't sneak up on me with that contrast this time. Can you go and fetch that desire through another means instead? That would make me feel even better." I guess in this case the Universe is more dog like. :-)

I am beginning to calm down and think "there is only one TRUE source" if something did happen I would go on to better things.... THANK YOU!!!

- **Hugs** CF dear, calm down first. Calm down and take some deep breaths. I know its gonna be hard but youre awesome at what you do right? Youre the best there is in your department. They NEED you. Your students need you. You are secure!!!!! Think thoughts like that. Dont even acknowledge that anything bad could possibly happen! Please keep your chin up and be strong sweeti!! You're gonna be fine!!!!
