My journey started in the pursuit of practical magic. What began as a teenager's fatuous expression lead to many valid and powerful methods of overall growth and learning.
My experiences are mainly what is called the Western Mystery Tradition. Ceremonial magic as taught by The Golden Dawn (at one time a genuine esoteric group from 1888, but now split into an infinite amount of "authentic" orders). Eventually, I joined B.O.T.A. which is probably the closest in authenticity to the original GD, but with some important subtractions and additions.
Other things I've used or been involved with:
Silva Mind Control, Hemi-sync Gateway program (can't recommend this highly enough), Rosicrucian AMORC, Fraternity of the Hidden Light, Level 3 Reiki master, Golden Dawn, honorary member of the O.T.O for a brief time, Freemasons, Chaos magic, Franz Bardon's work (Initiation into Hermetics), S.R.I.A. and currently Builders of the Adytum...there's probably more but I can't remember.

Who doesn't like to be creeped out? Well some, but many do. That's what I thought would happen with The Fourth Kind movie. Well, it went way beyond creepy and deep into sheer terror. If anybody feels like they have too easy a time falling asleep, then see this movie. Thank God that I was able to find copious amounts of debunkers, not that I wholly believe THEIR side. But for one of the very few times, I don't WANT that stuff to be true. Not the way it was portrayed in that movie...yeesh!! The "a…

Well, not much to report. Just doing my hourly 3-minute plug of a what-I-want thoughts and seeing things unfold related to them. Keeping up with morning and evening practices and studies. Still seeing signs everywhere. Isaac and I are approaching something big. BIG big. We haven't seen each other since Monday but talking to him the other day showed that we're riding the parallel train together. Plus, when he does his rant, and this happens nearly always, he starts talking about something in my c…

Keeping with practices rather diligently and observing its effects.
I've been seeing signs, along with Isaac, of Aleister Crowley's work creeping into my life; in a constant barrage of signs. When I was young, I was attracted to Crowley and his work because of it's seeming darkness, but as I grew I found better, yet related, things to follow. He's brilliant but I've eventually felt that his teachings may not be the safest. And that remains to be true. However, I'm doubtlessly getting called to…

Worked a whopping 11 hours yesterday so it didn't leave much room to notice any magical occurences. My studies and practices are going well. My current BOTA lesson might be my favorite one. Oh wait, there was a tiny coincidence. Since I've take up Golden Dawn study/practice, I'm immersed in two different, but related, sources of information. While reading the Neophyte Ritual, there was a portion that referred to exactly what this week's BOTA lesson teaches. Not huge but a nice little dose. Also,…
