Thanks Sandra!

How is everyone doing on their word count? I'm up to 28,717.

"'This will be the most boring novel you'll ever read, but stay tuned, there may be sex later." LMAO!

Good job on the word cont Tamara, you're half way there with plenty of time.

Donna, I got 3000 words yesterday too. I sat down and refused to get up until I got through all 3k. Changing perspective is a good idea. One of my favorite books growing up was Zel, the story of Rapunzel, the witch and the prince all in first person.

I'm at 16,283 right now, gonna grab something to eat and try to get another 3-4k tonight before my husband gets home. I've got two hours.

Can't remember if it was someone here or somewhere else that suggested to write from a different perspective - it's a GREAT idea, so thank you! I bashed out 3000 words yesterday doing this. Lovely. There was a minor issue though - the character whose perspective I wrote from turned out to be more sympathetic, and nicer than he appeared from another character's perspective. So now I need to get rid of him nicely. Rubbish. :-) xx

25764 words as of today. I find that when I'm blocked, I just start writing whatever is on my mind. Even if my mind is saying : 'This will be the most boring novel you'll ever read, but stay tuned, there may be sex later.' I think that helps to get out of the writing rut. You can always change it later.

Don't worry that's okay, it's somehow easier to see here on the wall what's going on, so don't worry :)))

I had a crazy night, last night. I'm at 21,002 today. I wrote both on my novel a bit some 1000 words (I can't believe I was able to write this much on the novel when I thought I was blocked. I just changed moved on to the other scene) :) and then a bit of writing prompts, it worked out well.

Now i'm supposed to be writing some applications so I won't be doing much before i get this done. Last week I had problems with my computer but all is ok now. I also feel sorry that i'm not watching much of the videos on ccor it's a shame.. will do it soon!! :)

oh yes at 3 AM I wrote a poem kind of weird?! I just couldn't fall asleep and then had to write it down then I was able to sleep lol :) and I thought that creativity usualyl happens during the day and not that late *cough* early ;)

Somehow I don't seem to be getting the updates to the discussion forum, just the wall chat.

10 Good Reasons I Shouldn’t Write My Life Story

1.First of all, once I get published people would start digging in my past and would not rest until they find something negative about me or something embarrassing so they can gossip about or put in the headlines about my private life. Am I ready for this, to be that exposed?
2.People would start stalking me to find out more about me, not that my book cannot provide them with enough information but they would want to see me when I am not this “author”. People would recognize me in the streets and say “Hey this is the girl who wrote that book, you know?”
3.I would not have a private life anymore and would have to keep track of what I said and where and pay attention to what I am going to say.
4.My family would say that my story is not true; they would tell their “right” version of the story and say that everything else is a lie. Unless I make the changes they would not let me in peace.
5.Once I publish it I cannot change my mind and have something removed. I could do that but that would cost me a lot and some previous published versions would already circulate around.
6.Come on, who is writing their life story with 24? I am too young to do that and people would give me weird looks and think I am suicidal or what else could be the reason this young lady is writing her life story. It is not really the norm for a 24 year old late teen to write his or her life story. People should do that when they are mature and have enough of life experience but not at such a young age.
7.The book would be something like from 0 to 24 and I would be working on the second sequence as I live the years. See this is why it is usually not “normal” to be writing such a book at that young age.
8.Some people would be embarrassed that I wrote about them and would keep secrets away from me. They would share less with me as usually because they know I wrote my life story and that I am working on a second of many volumes. They would be careful about what they are telling me. Other would be just positively surprised that I mentioned them in my book because they played a vital role in my life. Those both groups would nevertheless start sharing less information with me due to this.
9.I will have to spend a whole lot of time on research to make sure I write the right things and give the right information about some things, such as history facts etc. It would take me ages to finish this and have the proof for everything I say that is related to the history. Do I really have the time for this?
10.I would not know how to end it, right. Oh yeah I could write “sequence follows” how original. At least that would give me a few years time till I write my second part. Wow!

I love this writing prompt ;)

I see we all are somehow posting here in the wall rather than going to the discussion topics and writing there. *lol* I don't mind that, it's okay, you can all do whatever you want as long as it makes you happy, it makes me happy too ;)
