Never Enough
Words,
It seems you can never say enough.
Time,
It seems you can never have enough.
Space,
It seems you can never get enough.
Love,
It seems you can never love enough.

Today I am strong
Today I am strong,
Since yesterday is gone,
And you were so wrong,
I waited too long,
I felt I belong,
Lies all along,
Singing a sad song,
A broken heart was drawn.

“Woman” role

When I let myself go
Enjoying the warmth of you
Dancing in your arms
“I didn’t think you’d be as warm as this”
Whispered you

Hold yourself high – so disciplined
“anaesthetised” - breathing numb without feeling
Or so “they” think
Living as long as I work
Having to earn love?

“I am lovable because I exist”
States Louise
But when I am “just” woman in this moment
Then it breaks, it runs away
When did it become conditional?

Senses Versus Heart

There’s elderflower cordial
Sage incense
Touch of keyboard
Or’ puppy’ fur

The sensing of evening and morning
The chill and the warming
The compensation of a heart
Dead to the more “human” virtues?
Of family, society
Immune or protected?

The blind trust the heart, trust their thoughts
Those thoughts which create their very lives

So for me?
The sighing heart
But
The joy of the senses
A virtuous greediness
Celebrating
The moment
NOW

My words are flowing

Moving into a diabolic situation and the fear is waiting...
They tell me five more ways that I will survive...
I take a stake in a life we push to create..
One day I will wait for more..
One day I will face the law..
Move telling, the groove's yelling, how can I make you scream?
You tell me something, I say everything else too..
It's my life or it's my team...
A battle of wits, this life is the pits, two bits..
To an explanatory storey, I choose wisdom, for the Weary...
I understand my land, like I know I've grown, the beats I've always known..
And on the streets me words are flowing..
